Pam Davis has served in many positions in the moving industry in the last 13 years, including administration, operations and sales. In the spring of 2011 she decided to start her own moving company devoted to customer and community service in Middle Georgia.

The result of that decision was the formation of Premier Moving by Pam, LLC, which was one of first two moving companies in Georgia to go through the new licensing process for household movers in the state of Georgia. Prior to legislation passed by the Georgia General Assembly in 2010 the moving industry in Georgia was regulated by the Georgia Public Service Commission. Now the industry is regulated by the Georgia Department of Public Safety and state law has mandated more stringent requirements to be met prior to licensing. These requirements include criminal background checks of owners and officers, proof financial viability of the company and the owner, proof of insurance, completion of Tariff classes and a one year temporary license period. Only upon a Department of Public Safety Audit of the licensee may the temporary license be made permanent. Premier Moving by Pam, LLC went through the entire process and is now permanently licensed in Georgia, certificate # HHG501426.

In 2013, Pam's husband, Kevin Davis came on board to help the growing company with sales and growth. Kevin's background was 23 years in the banking and mortgage industry. Pam is from Monticello, Georgia while Kevin is a lifelong resident of Macon. They have 2 sons and are active in the community as members of Forsyth United Methodist Church, The Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce, Forsyth-Monroe Chamber of Commerce, Middle Georgia Association of Realtors, Miracle League of Macon, Race for the Cure – Monroe County and the Kiwanis Club of Forsyth.
